Monitors settings

The Settings > Monitoring > Monitors page shows every monitor across your organization, not just the current workspace. This page is only visible to admins.

Monitor list

Column
Description
Name
The dashboard tile the monitor is configured on. Click it to open the tile on its dashboard. If you do not have access to the tile's workspace, the name is shown as plain text instead of a link.
Path
The workspace, dashboard folder and dashboard the tile sits in.
Last Evaluated
When the monitor last ran, relative to now. Shows Unknown if it has not run yet.
Next Evaluation
When the monitor is next due to run, relative to now. A warning icon appears once a monitor has failed to evaluate five times in a row, because SquaredUp slows its evaluation after that.
Frequency
How often the monitor runs. Shows a dash if no frequency is set.

Search
Enter text to filter the list. Every column is searched, using the text as it is displayed, so Unknown and a relative time such as 5 minutes ago both match.

Click a column heading to sort the list by it.
Edit monitor
Click to open the Edit monitor window and change how often the monitor runs.
Delete monitor
Click to permanently delete the monitor. The dashboard tile it was on is not affected.

Description
Frequency
Required. Select how often the monitor is re-evaluated. The options offered depend on the tile timeframe, so a monitor cannot run more often than the tile refreshes. Options more frequent than your plan allows are listed but cannot be selected.

To rename a monitor, or change what it evaluates, edit it from the dashboard tile's Monitoring tab. Only the frequency can be changed here.

Monitor permissions

The page itself is only visible to administrators, and lists every monitor in the organization.

Edit monitor and Delete monitor only appear for monitors in workspaces you have edit access to. An administrator with no permissions on a workspace still sees its monitors listed, but cannot act on them.

If no monitors have been configured anywhere in the organization, the page reads There are no monitors configured.
