AI settings

The Settings > Organization > AI page controls whether your organization can use AI features. Everyone can open the page, but only administrators can change anything on it.

SquaredUp AI

On the Settings > Organization > AI page, turn on Enable all SquaredUp AI features to give your organization access to AI features such as SmartAssist. Click Save to apply your changes.

Setting	Description
Enable all SquaredUp AI features	Enable to turn on the AI features included in your plan. Disable to remove them for everyone in the organization.
Save	Click to apply your changes. Changes are not applied until you save.

This page is the only place AI features can be turned off. An administrator can also turn them on from SmartAssist, using the Enable AI features prompt shown when the feature is available but not yet enabled.

What the toggle controls

The toggle covers every AI feature at once, so disabling it removes all of the following.

Turning AI features off does not delete anything that has already been generated.

Feature	What disabling removes
SmartAssist	The assistant button and its summaries.
Visualization suggestions	The AI suggestion for how to visualize a data stream in the tile editor.
Object summaries	The AI-written summary shown for an object.
SmartInsights	The SmartInsights data stream, used to roll up insights across a workspace.

Permissions

AI features are available on every plan. Only administrators can turn them on or off.

If your organization has used up its AI token allowance, the toggle can't be turned on until the allowance renews.
