Assignment group load

When a major incident is active, the pressure doesn’t fall evenly across the organization. This tile makes that visible. It shows how many active incident records are currently assigned to each team, helping you identify bottlenecks, balance workload, and prevent burnout during high-pressure events.

Configuring the tile

  1. Data Source: Select ServiceNow.
  2. Data Stream: Select Table Query.
  3. Parameters:
    1. Table name: Select Incident.
    2. Filter query: Enter a query to return your major incidents. For example, active=true^priority=1.
  4. Timeframe: Select the Dashboard timeframe so that you are able to change the data range along with the other tiles, then select Created from the Column field.
  5. Group > Group by: Select Assignment Group.
  6. Group > Aggregation type: Select Count.
  7. Visualization: Select Donut.
    1. Mapping > Value: Select Count.
    2. Mapping> Label: Select Assignment Group.
    3. Y-Axis: Select Count.
  8. Legend > Type: select Table.
  9. Legend > Position > select Right.
  10. Click Save.
