Monitor the Incidents and Alerts from your PagerDuty environment.

To add a data source click on the + next to Data Sources on the left-hand menu in SquaredUp. Search for the data source and click on it to open the Configure data source page.

Before you start

You can create an API access key (token) by logging in to PagerDuty > Integrations > API Access Keys > Create New API Key, and ticking Read-only API Key. See Generating API Keys

Copy the API access key from PagerDuty before closing the window:

Configuring the data source

  1. Paste in the API key you created.
  2. Optionally, enter the time zone to use for the returned data. This should be a string representing a recognized time zone in the format of the IANA time zone database, see PagerDuty: Time Zone. For example, you might enter Etc/UTC for Coordinated Universal Time.
  3. Install Sample Dashboards:
Select whether you would like to install sample dashboards with the data source. By default, this is set to on.

  4. Restrict access to this data source:
You can enable this option if you only want certain users or groups to have access to the data source, or the permission to link it to new workspaces. See data source access control for more information.

  5. Click Test and add to validate the data source configuration. SquaredUp will now attempt to connect to SquaredUp using the provided authentication method. If this process fails, see Testing and troubleshooting for assistance with the corresponding errors.

If you receive a warning that your Account does not have the Teams ability. Scoped OAuth requires: teams.read please contact PagerDuty or see PagerDuty: Teams.
