Monitor key application metrics from your New Relic environment.

To add a data source click on the + next to Data Sources on the left-hand menu in SquaredUp. Search for the data source and click on it to open the Configure data source page.

Before you start

Copy API keys and Account ID number in New Relic

  1. Log in to New Relic and browse to API keys.

  2. You can copy an existing or a newly created key by clicking the 3 dots button next to a key and clicking Copy.
  3. Make a note of the Account ID number from the Account column on this API key page.

Configuring the data source

  1. Paste in the API key.
  2. Enter the Account ID.
  3. Select the Data Center your New Relic account uses.
  4. Restrict access to this data source:
    You can enable this option if you only want certain users or groups to have access to the data source, or the permission to link it to new workspaces. See Access control for more information.

  5. Click Test and add to validate the data source configuration. SquaredUp will now attempt to connect to SquaredUp using the provided authentication method. If this process fails, see Testing and troubleshooting for assistance with the corresponding errors.
