Deployment failures
This tile shows the number of failed deployments each day over a timeframe, helping teams identify when releases did not complete successfully. It highlights reliability issues in the delivery pipeline and provides context for investigating failed changes, blocked releases, or patterns in deployment instability.
Configuration
Configure the following in the tile editor:
- Data Source: Select Azure DevOps.
- Data Stream: Select Build Runs.
- Objects: Select the projects you want data from.
- Parameters > Result: Select Failed to filter by failed deployments.
Timeframe: Select the timeframe you want to track. Note that after adding a monitor or configuring a KPI the Use dashboard timeframe option is disabled.
- Group:
- Group by: Select Finish Time.
- Bucket by: Select Day.
- Aggregation type: Select Count.
- Visualization: Select Bar.
- Mapping > X-Axis: Select Finish Time (by day).
- Mapping > Y-Axis: Select Count.
- X-Axis > Label: Enter Date.
- Y-Axis > Label: Enter FailedDeployments.
- Click Save.
