Alert volume by service

This tile shows which services generate the highest number of alerts within the selected timeframe. By grouping alerts by service and counting how often they fire, it highlights where on-call load is concentrated and which systems are most likely to contribute to alert fatigue.

This makes it easier to prioritize investigation and alert tuning efforts on the services that will have the biggest impact on reducing noise.

Configuration

Configure the following in the tile editor:

1. Data source: Select Azure.
2. Data stream: Select Alerts.
3. Objects: Select the monitored objects you want to track alerts for.
4. Parameters:
   1. Monitor condition: Select Fired.
   2. Severity: Leave blank to capture every severity level.
5. Group:
   1. Group by: Select Resource Name.
   2. Group by: Select Severity.
6. Sort:
   1. Sort by: Count.
   2. Direction: Select Descending.
7. Visualization:
   1. Type: Bar.
   2. X-Axis: Resource name.
   3. Y-Axis: Count.
   4. Series: Severity.
8. Click Save.
