Salesforce Data Stream Parameters

The Salesforce plugin provides configurable data streams to query Salesforce object data and metrics.

Each configurable data stream exposes a set of parameters that lets you filter the data you retrieve. The following information describes the available configurable data streams and their parameters in detail.

Opportunities

Returns the Salesforce opportunities linked to the objects in scope. Narrow by stage, type and date, and choose which calendar the dates are measured against.

Description
Filter by opportunity stages
Choose one or more stages to filter the results by.
Filter by opportunity types
Choose one or more types to filter the results by.
Filter by opportunity dates
Choose a compatible date/time field to filter the results by.
Calendar type
Choose which calendar year type to use. Choose from:
  • Calendar dates: The dashboard timeframe is applied without modification.
  • Fiscal dates: The dashboard timeframe is offset by your fiscal calendar.

SOQL Query

Returns the result of a Salesforce Object Query Language query. Use it to reach data the other Salesforce data streams do not cover.

Enter a Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) query.

Tasks

Returns Salesforce tasks falling in the dashboard timeframe. Narrow by type and priority, and choose which date field the timeframe applies to.
