Datadog Data Stream Parameters

The Datadog plugin data stream provides data streams for retrieving metrics, synthetic tests, and synthetic test runs. These streams let you monitor system and application performance, track test configurations, and analyze recent test executions.

By filtering on attributes such as metric name, test type, status, region, or tags, you can tailor the data to your specific monitoring and troubleshooting needs.

Cost

Gets historical cost data from your Datadog account Optionally, use estimated cost to include the current, not-yet-billed month. Only available for parent-level organizations.

Returns finalised monthly cost data.
Estimated
Returns estimated cost data of the in-progress current month and the previous month.

Events

Search events by providing a query using Datadog Log Search Syntax.

Host Metrics

Parameter
Description
Counter name
Specify the metric name you want to retrieve (e.g. system.cpu.user, memory.usage, http.requests). Refer to Datadog Metrics for supported metrics.

Monitors

Parameter
Description
Status
Specify a monitor status to filter results by (e.g. OK, Alert, Warn, or No Data).
Name query
Filter monitors by matching a substring in the monitor name. Supports expressions.
Scope tags
Filter monitors by the infrastructure they monitor, for example host:web-1 or env:prod. Specify multiple tags to combine them with AND. Supports expressions.
Monitor tags
Filter monitors by tags applied to the monitor itself, for example team:backend or service:checkout. Specify multiple tags to combine them with AND. Supports expressions.
