AppDynamics Data Stream Parameters

The AppDynamics plugin provides a metric data stream that allows you to retrieve detailed performance and health metrics from applications, tiers, and nodes.

By specifying a custom metric name, you can access key telemetry such as CPU usage, memory consumption, error rates, or response times to monitor system health and diagnose issues.

Metric

Returns a single AppDynamics metric for the objects in scope. The scope sets most of the metric path, so you enter only the part that identifies the counter.

Enter a metric to query (e.g. CPU|%Busy). The majority of the metric path is pre-set based on the scoped item’s type. These preset paths are as follows, where {{metric}} is the metric provided in the configurable data stream:
